Outside Plant Network Construction
At various times since its inception, CTS has been a primary provider of outside plant cable placement, restoration, maintenance and splicing services throughout the region as a Single-source contractor for local exchange carriers such as CenturyLink, Frontier, Windstream, and AT&T. As a single-source contractor, CTS is responsible for coordinating the necessary resources, labor and material to either supplement an existing customer’s work force or to build and maintain a customer’s existing network infrastructure. It is our responsibility to provide our customer with a single point of contact to ensure that the work is completed on schedule to pre-determined quality standards. This work includes all phases of construction from buried, underground or aerial placement and splicing of copper or fiber optic cable, to installation of wire services at private businesses and residences.
Our years of outside plant construction experience have enabled CTS to offer a complete solution for private companies, municipalities and institutions seeking to extend their phone and data networks across multiple buildings or throughout a city. We have designed, with our partners, and installed several thousand miles of buried cabling in established urban areas for our clients, all without disturbing everyday vehicular traffic or the operations of nearby businesses. Our services include coordinating with local city and state authorities, handling government permitting requirements, and working with local utility providers.
At CTS, we manage and maintain an extensive fleet of equipment for outside plant network construction projects. Our full-time staff of over 170+ outside technicians and site managers are dedicated to building and maintaining our customer’s network. CTS has its own in-house fiber and copper splicers. CTS splicers have many years of experience splicing and testing new and existing facilities.
CTS is a Single Source Contractor for OSP construction and splicing services in Southern Ohio since 2005
CTS installed a private fiber optic network for the City of Hamilton to connect all of the city’s municipal buildings.
CTS Construction constructed over seven hundred twenty-five (725) miles of fiber optic network, three hundred fifty-one (351) new and retrofit DLC switch sites and groomed and upgraded several hundred miles of existing copper network.
From 2013 CTS has constructed over one hundred seventy-five (175) miles of buried and aerial FTTH network in eastern and central Tennessee as well as central Indiana.
